Carlyn is a new Idahoan after spending the first part of her life in Austin, Texas where she was born, raised, and educated. Crow received her dual bachelor's degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. She spent four years mentoring and tutoring students at Austin College Prep, a charter school in the KIPP system. After this experience, she decided to become a teacher through a program called Teach for America which led her to the wonderful place that is Wilder, Idaho! Beginning next fall, she will be pursuing a Master's in Teaching at Johns Hopkins University online. When she is not nerding out about the brilliance of math, Ms. Crow is reading, hiking, or writing stand-up comedy.
