Steven was born and raised in Caldwell, Idaho. His elementary school years were spent in the Caldwell School District. He spent his Junior High and High School years at Greenleaf Friends Academy. After High School, Steve joined an elementary music assembly team, called Primary Focus, and toured the U.S. and went to 35 states in three years. After he moved back to Idaho, he went to Treasure Valley Community College (TVCC) and received his Associate’s Degree and went on to receive his Bachelor's Degree in Communication from Boise State in 2008. A few years, and several jobs later, he decided to pursue a teaching certificate and completed the ABCTE Program. He was given the opportunity to work at Wilder Elementary in 2014 teaching 2nd grade. You will find him this year in the same studio and grade level as when he started.
