How the Student Learning Plan works
When you receive your Student Learning Plan (SLP) document you will need to Name it with your name followed by SLP. This will become the document that is used to set goals and reflect on learning.
You will have a meeting with your teacher to set up your personalized Learning plan. Once you have your plan based on Idaho State standards you will set weekly goals that target those standards. Each week the daily plans and goals will be made by the student based on the plan established by the Teacher.
Students will complete goals and then reflect at the end of the day adding details on what they accomplish, items they still need to complete, and record what they are grateful for.
The SLP is checked and reviewed daily by the teacher as well as reviewed by the Principal. These checks are to help motivate students as well as have discussions if goals are too difficult or need to be adjusted for students to be successful.
