The district would like to update parents regarding the current impact of COVID on the district. Over the past two weeks, we have had less than 2% of the student body test positive. We are grateful that the number is very low when compared to other districts in the valley. We have, though, had a high percentage of staff who have tested positive, yet the district has been fortunate to have had substitute teacher coverage for those incidents. We have informed and will continue to inform, individual parents of possible exposure as we engage in our contract tracing process. In an effort to minimize the risk of exposure for the students and staff, the district recommends that mask/face coverings be worn while on campus.
